Kemarin kita sudah membahas mengenai Lee 101B Europe yang merupakan edisi dry denim. Kali ini kita akan mencoba membahas mengenai produk Lee Europe 101B yang sudah diberikan treatment wash untuk mendapatkan efek vintage. Dari penglihatan sekilas kami, produk-produk Lee Europe memang juga mengedepankan produk-produk washed-nya selain yang dry. Dan dari beberapa produk wash yang ada, semuanya memiliki karakter wash yang sangat unik dan bagus, tidak berlebihan dan terlihat sangat natural.
Model jeans 101B edisi wash ini merupakan model yang sama persis dengan versi drynya. Kita tetap bisa melihat triple stitching yang digunakan di hampir semua seam yang ada. Untuk Lee ini, tampaknya triple stitching dipakai di hampir semua seam seperti seat, yoke, waistband stitch bagian bawah, inseam, bahkan beltloop, jahitan kantong belakang dan kantong koin.
Hardware yang digunakan pada celana ini juga tampaknya sudah melalui proses aging sebelumnya. Kita bisa melihat perbedaan warna top button yang dipakai, dimana pada versi dry-nya top buttonnya berwarna hitam matte sementara kita bisa melihat top button yang sudah mulai memudar dan terlihat berkarat di versi washnya. Begitu pula halnya dengan rivet yang sudah terlihat aging.
Agak berbeda dengan versi dry-nya, bahan denim pada produk ini tampaknya bukan merupakan bahan yang sama, karena pada outseamnya hanya terdapat jahitan obras, tanpa selvage line. Selain itu patch pada jeans ini juga tidak memakai hair-on-hide namun leather patch biasa dengan stencil tulisan Lee. Fading pada jeans ini terlihat sangat natural terutama pada bagian lap fade di sekitar paha dan kami menyukai fading pada bagian bawah kaki, terutama bagian hem dimana kita bisa melihat cuff marks pada bagian tersebut.
Produk ini akan cocok bagi seseorang yang ingin mendapatkan sebuah celana straight dengan detail vintage yang kental. Fading yang natural ini juga menambahkan kesan vintage pada jeans ini. Cocok untuk kalian yang mengincar sebuah celana prewashed dengan detail yang natural dan menarik, tanpa menghabiskan waktu untuk mem-break dry jeans.

In our previous article, we’ve reviewed Lee 101B Europe, the dry denim edition. This time we’ll try to review their sister which is Lee Europe 101B washed edition which has received wash treatment to obtain a vintage look. At a glance, aside from the dry products, Lee Europe are also focusing on their washed products. Among some of their washed products, most of them have unique and great wash characteristic, which looks very natural and not excessive.
The 101B washed jeans model is similar with the dry version. We coud still see triple stitching used on this jeans. On this Lee products, it looks like triple stitching are used at most of the seams, such as the seat, yoke, bottom side waistband stitch, inseam, even beltloop, backpocket stitch, and also the coin pocket.
The hardware used on this pants also looks like it had went through an aging process. We could see different color of the top button used on the jeans, on the dry version, the top button color are matte black while we could see a faded and rusty top button on the wash version. The rivets also got this kind of aging effect.
A bit different from the dry version, the denim material which used on this product is apparently not the same, without selvage line. Moreover the patch of this jeans also doesn’t use hair-on-hide, but a common leather patch with a Lee stencil written on it. The fading of this jeans also looks very natural, especially on the lap fade on the thigh, we also like the fading on the bottom part of the leg, especially on the hem side where we could see cuff marks on that side.
This products will suit people who want a straight pants with interesting vintage details. The natural fading also added some vintage looks on this jeans. Suitable for people who are looking for a prewashed pants with a natural yet interesting detail, however without spending time to break a dry jeans.
