Lee 101 J adalah jaket denim yang paling terkenal dari Lee dan biasa disebut dengan Lee Riders Jacket. Bentuknya yang slim menjadi idola bagi para koboi di jamannya semenjak pertama kali diluncurkan di tahun 1940an. Jaket ini juga sering terlihat dipakai oleh para penunggang rodeo terkenal sampai ke artis Hollywood terkenal seperti Marylin Monroe.
Bagi pecinta denim jacket, jaket ini bisa menjadi pilihan tepat bagi rencana pembelian berikutnya karena ini adalah jaket paling ikonik dan paling khas dari Lee. Hal yang paling mencolok dari jaket ini tentunya desain kantong dada dengan button yang khas Lee dan tentunya zig zag stitching untuk memperkuat placket di bagian depan. Button yang digunakan pada jaket ini adalah branded Lee button dengan material yang menyerupai iron button. Selain itu cats eye button digunakan sebagai button pada bagian wasitband adjuster.
Detail-detail lain yang menarik di jaket ini adalah adanya waistband adjuster di bagian belakang yang biasa digunakan untuk membuat fit jaket makin snug dan membuatnya makin slim seperti buatan tailor. Untuk memperkuat bagian seam ujung di sleeve, digunakanlah sebuah rivet di bagian bukaannya.
Kita bisa melihat dari bagian dalam jaket ini bahwa jaket ini terbuat dari LHT selvage denim dengan natural plain selvage. Pada bagian-bagian tertentu seperti bagian bawah dan cuff, digunakan selvage finish untuk tetap membuat jaket ini terlihat clean tanpa obras.

After the previous jacket review, this time we’re going to review one of the most popular jacket Lee has made even until now the popularity is unmatched. Lee 101 J is their first denim jacket and they become pretty popular at the time, they used to be called the Riders jacket. The slimmer build and fit is idolized by cowboys and rodeo champion from the first time they’ve been launched in the 40s. These jacket even got more popular and worn by some Hollywood stars such as Marylin Monroe.
For a denim jacket lover, this jacket is a must have for their wardrobe collection because this jacket is the most iconic jacket Lee ever made. The most striking feature is probably the chest pocket which is pretty unique for a denim jacket and of course the ever striking zig zag stitching on the placket, designed to reinforce the placket from hard work. This jacket use a branded Lee iron button and we can see a neat black cats eye button for the waistband adjuster.
Other details that are also interesting is the waistband adjuster designed to make the jacket fit snugger and to make it look more tailored. To fastened the end of the sleeve seam, a rivet is also used on the sleeve opening.
From the inside part of the jacket, we can clearly see that this jacket was made from an LHT plain selvage denim which is pretty usual for Lee product. In some part of the jacket such as the waist and cuff, the selvage is used for the finish to make it look cleaner without overlock stitching.
